Quebec Life Coalition · Priority petition to the Quebec government

Who is protecting the vulnerable?

In a single year, 6,268 Quebecers were euthanized: 7.9% of all deaths, the highest rate in the world. The Commission that oversees these deaths never sees the medical record.

The petition asks the Quebec government for:

  1. 1.a moratorium on euthanasia until palliative care is available everywhere;
  2. 2.a guarantee that palliative care homes are never again forced to administer death;
  3. 3.an independent review of oversight, and access to medical records for the Commission;
  4. 4.timely, funded palliative care in every region.

Why now

Couillard has doubts. Former premier Philippe Couillard, whose government passed Quebec's 2014 euthanasia law, says he's not sure he would vote for it again, given how far it has widened. (CBC's The House, Oct 10, 2026) Sign the petition → Ottawa wants to go further. On Oct 7, Ottawa announced a bill that would extend advance requests for euthanasia to all of Canada. Quebec has allowed them for two years as of Oct 30. Every expansion starts in Quebec. Sign the petition → A new minister. Quebec's cabinet was sworn in on Oct 21. Marie-Karlynn Laflamme (Health and Seniors) is now responsible for end-of-life care. Nothing is set yet: now is the time to be heard. Sign the petition →

In 2024-25 the Commission flagged 19 deaths that broke the law, 10 of them with no serious and incurable illness. No known sanction.

New legislature

A new government. The same questions.

The Parti Québécois has formed a minority government: 59 seats out of 127. Nineteen Conservatives are entering the National Assembly, a first since 1935. Birth rate, schools, abortion, euthanasia: we will need to talk to these new members.

The new cabinet was sworn in on October 21.

During the campaign, more than 320 people used our tool, and over 1,250 letters reached candidates in 109 ridings.

Génération Vie · cultural and political forum

Forming the generation that will carry on.

On April 25, 2026, in Montreal, a dozen speakers brought together Quebec's pro-life and pro-family movement for the first Génération Vie congress: abortion, contraception, the birth rate, the family, children's education in the face of state indoctrination, euthanasia, and the place of Christianity in society.

Génération Vie exists so that young Quebecers can speak, be formed, and meet those with whom they will build what comes next. This was only the first milestone: the next edition is on its way.
