Several media articles have appeared regarding a truck from the Canadian Center for Bioethics Reform displaying pictures of aborted babies and driving through the streets of Montreal. Several pro-abortion activist groups, complacently covered by the media, have, of course, denounced the initiative, calling it “disturbing” and “misinformation.”

Disturbing, certainly, but is it misinformation? Nothing is more true than a corpse... And it is precisely because the images of aborted babies are undeniably true and show abortion in all its horror that pro-abortion activists are concerned about the awareness this might raise among certain people.

Thus, the FQPN and the Montreal Women’s Health Center have written to the mayor of Montreal asking the city to enact regulations limiting the public display of such images.

Life Chain

Next Sunday, October 4th, the annual Life Chain will take place — a one-hour public demonstration in support of the unborn child. Several events are being held across Quebec; for more information, visit the Quebec Chain website.

40 Days for Life

Finally, let’s not forget Quebec’s 40 Days for Life, which is currently underway in Sherbrooke. This vigil aims to raise public awareness about the dignity of unborn human life and to offer support to women considering abortion. Life Chain

The Life Chain is a peaceful and quiet event in which participants hold pro-life signs for one hour. This initiative, which will take place in hundreds of cities on Sunday, October 4th, 2026, is crucial for raising public awareness about the dignity of human life.

40 Days for Life

The 40 Days for Life consists of 40 days of vigil, 12 hours a day, on the sidewalk, usually in the vicinity of an abortion clinic, to speak out in favor of the unborn to passersby and to offer help to women considering abortion. The 40 days begin on September 23th and end on November 1st; they take place in Sherbrooke.

100 Days of Rosary for the Renewal of Faith in Quebec
The Renouveau du Québec initiative, which was launched in spring, has recently surpassed the symbolic milestone of 100 days and will soon reach 200 days. Set to last a total of 1,000 days, the initiative invites people of all ages to pray the rosary daily and gather every Tuesday to recite the Marian prayer.
