In Quebec, we are experiencing a veritable barrage of attacks against faith, family, and life.

Although the Quebec nation had already begun to deny its own foundations during the so-called Quiet Revolution, a new wave of apostasy began in earnest with Bill 21 (June 16, 2019), the famous “state secularism” law.

Behind the mask of supposed neutrality now hides an assumed state atheism, which cuts Quebec off from its Christian roots.

Then, last December, came a direct attack on public prayer — a threat that we immediately opposed with an initial petition.

In August, it was the turn of the Pelchat-Rousseau report, a veritable roadmap for government atheism: pressure on parishes, religious organizations, charities... the obligation to “secularize” or lose their tax privileges, but also a new blow to parental authority in education.

Then came another blow — and not just any blow: draft bill no. 1, known as the “Quebec Constitution.”

There has been little mention of it in the media... and nevertheless!

This text establishes abortion, euthanasia, and secularism as the founding principles of the Quebec nation (see here).

Abortion, euthanasia, and secularism, enshrined in Bill 1, are the ills that are killing Quebec.

Together, we responded with:

• Our call to write to your representative (click here if you haven't already done so)
• Our call to participate in the parliamentary consultation (click here if you haven't already done so)

And now, the news has just broken this Thursday, November 27, that a bill will be introduced to “strengthen secularism” — that is, to strengthen state atheism and further attack public prayer.

In the face of this wave of attacks, our response remains the same:
“Jesus saves Quebec!”

Like Noah in the ark, we take refuge in the Cross.
And clinging to this plank of salvation, we will pass through the storm.
"And where sin abounded, grace did more abound." (Rom 5:20)

And the grace indeed overabounds:
Next week begins in the city of Quebec a large Christian and pro-life gathering for three days.
I beg you: come witness to Christ at the heart of a Quebec that its elites want to uproot.

Conferences tour

Quebec Life Coalition is launching a project to establish local groups (parishes, churches, student groups, etc.) of Quebec, to root a living commitment to faith, family and life. Say "no" to secularism: Quebec Prays and Canada Prays

Every Wednesday at 6 pm, Christians across Quebec are invited to gather in groups throughout the province to pray the Rosary publicly. We will not be driven from the public square like lepers!

Vigil 365

The Vigil 365 is a prayer vigil where, every day for one or two hours, pro-lifers pray in a public place at a certain distance from an abortuary for the end of abortion.
