Morgentaler Park Protest - September 10th

I would like to send you a heartfelt thank you for all those who signed the Morgentaler park petition. With over 8000 signatures, the response from across Canada has far surpassed our expectations!

Here in Quebec, our culture is the most liberal of all Canadian provinces. The so-called Quiet Revolution of the ’60s has had disastrous results on the culture of life, on the traditional family, and on the practice of the Christian faith. In a matter of decades, a whole society of fervent Catholics have left the faith. As a result, what we have now is a society nearly devoid of Christian values, a secular state, where faith, especially Christianity, is looked down upon, where the traditional family is said to be a thing of the past, where acting in defence of the unborn often comes with persecution. And Quebec is often the pioneer in spreading new liberal and progressive ideas to the rest of Canada.

We here at Campagne Quebec-Vie/Quebec Life Coalition, are fighting hard to stop this trend. We are a non-profit that has as mission to defend life, from conception to natural death, as well as to promote the acceptance of Christianity in society. We have recently expanded our staff to better serve our mission. We run a pregnancy help hotline, a weekly show, we make relevant national and international news available to our French subscribers, we also create our own provincial content, we organize local 40 days for life and life chains, and we are developing our political branch to be able to support like-minded politicians, … and much more! One of our upcoming events is a follow-up to the Morgentaler petition. We need to act. We need to oppose, in whichever ways we can, the continued degeneration of our society, and work towards its restoration. For his part in the killing of countless Canadian children over the past 6 decades, the abortionist-in-chief of Canada deserves no honour or recognition. 

Therefore…

This September 10^th, at 2 pm EST, we will be having a peaceful demonstration and prayer at Beaujeu Park, in protest of the proposed renaming of the park to honour Henry Morgentaler. The families in this quiet residential neighborhood must be informed about this proposal. We are certain that we will have a strong and positive response from within the community.
