The Hungarian government repealed the law that Viktor Orbán enacted to protect children from LGBT propaganda.
President Péter Magyar stated that this change would allow Hungary to comply with European Union requirements. The EU had been withholding funds intended for Hungary for years, partly because of this measure introduced by Orbán.
Magyar’s party, Tisza, holds a two-thirds majority in parliament and does not need the support of Fidesz, Orbán’s party, which opposed the repeal of the law.
Children don't need the idea to be drummed into their heads that they might be a different gender or hear about various sexual practices. So let's leave the children alone!
This is a major setback for Hungary.
