One-third of Quebecers see our pro-life news

If something isn’t on social media, it no longer exists in the public discourse. That’s where people get their news, form their opinions, and decide what’s normal or scandalous. That’s why, a year ago, we changed the way we post on Facebook, with one goal in mind: to reach those who weren’t looking for us.

The result: In one year, our posts reached the equivalent of one in three Quebecers — an audience of 4,069,903 people, 80% of whom are Quebecers.

We’ve achieved vastly better results thanks to a deeper understanding of the changes made to the virtual platform. In the past, simply sharing a link to an article was enough to reach a wide audience — a method that Facebook now discourages. Today, we have to put more effort into presenting the message, and it’s paying off!

Please give generously today to help us spread the pro-life message throughout Quebec. The goal of our fall fundraising campaign is $25,000; any donation will be greatly appreciated.

The approximately 602 posts we published over the course of a year generated 582,100 reactions, comments, and shares, demonstrating the importance of the topics covered and the interest they generate. Is the debate over in Quebec? Far from it!

And our goal is precisely to stimulate debate on issues related to the protection of the unborn, vulnerable people, and the family, in areas where the media and state-funded activists seek to silence discussion.

However, we do not receive any government subsidies — neither from Ottawa nor from Quebec — and the only subsidies we receive are the donations you give us.

As you can see, the issue of education and family — particularly as it relates to gender ideology — generates a lot of engagement. The topic of demographics, which falls under this category, is a highly sensitive issue in Quebec, which has a long history of survival in the face of adversity; indeed, demographics are essential to the survival of a people.

You may also have noticed that the graph forms a curve that peaks in March and is currently on a downward trend, where we actually stand. We hope to turn this curve around by redoubling our efforts, because, far more than just numbers, this is about saving unborn children, protecting vulnerable people from euthanasia, and shielding children from the harmful effects of gender ideology.

The most popular post on the QLC (CQV) page this year has been viewed more than 1.5 million times:

We are fighting the same battle, and I thank you immensely for all the support you provide us,

For Life,
Augustin Hamilton

P.S. We are a small team working on a colossal task; publishing news relevant to the growth of a culture of life requires constant vigilance, and it is thanks to the resources you provide us that we will be able to carry it out successfully.
