Recently, Conservative MP Dane Lloyd questioned Liberal Defense Minister David McGuinty about instructions issued by the government this summer that ordered chaplains not to mention God in their public remarks.
David McGuinty did not deny that chaplains were restricted, but sidestepped the issue, stating that the policies issued by the Royal Canadian Chaplaincy Service, the Chief of the Defense Staff, and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) “do not prohibit private or personal faith.”
However, the issue is not about personal faith, but rather, military ceremonies, such as Remembrance Day, which has been Christian in nature since 1919.
The Canadian government is rejecting Canada’s heritage under the pretext of “diversity”.
