Generation Life: On April 25, Quebec Comes Together
Thanks to you, we have reached our $20,000 goal for our Lent / Spring 2026 fundraising campaign. Thank you!
Your generosity is a clear sign that, across Quebec and beyond, men and women are refusing decline and wish to work toward something greater.
And that is precisely what we now turn to.
On April 25, in Montreal, Génération Vie (Generation Life) will take place.
This French-language event is not just a conference.
It is an attempt to contribute to a Quiet Restoration of Quebec.
For too long, our Western societies have been organized around a central principle: so-called “freedom,” understood without limits, without direction, without purpose. The result is before our eyes: abortion, euthanasia, the redefinition of marriage, declining birth rates, weakened families, loss of meaning, and cultural uncertainty.
We believe renewal is possible.
But it must take place around a solid core:
faith, family, and life, from conception to natural death.
Like Christ, whose Resurrection we will commemorate this Easter Sunday, we believe that Quebec can rise again -- spiritually, morally, and demographically.
And that this return to Life begins with truths sown like leaven in the dough.
Generation Life is one of those moments where we sow.
We therefore invite you to be present.
Register now:
==> www.generationvie.ca
And above all: invite others
- friends
- members of your church or parish
- colleagues
- members of your family
Hundreds of people who share your convictions will be gathered. Your presence matters, as does that of those you bring with you.
You can also be an ambassador for the event:
- Like the Generation Life Facebook Event page
- Indicate your attendance (RSVP)
- Invite your contacts
Every action helps grow the movement.
Quebec is not condemned.
But it must be refocused around what makes a society live.
It is to this work that you are already contributing. Thank you for taking part.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Wishing you a fruitful journey toward Easter,

Georges Buscemi
President
Quebec Life Coalition

We are in the last days of our Spring fundraising campaign – with a mere 5 days left, we’ve so far collected $16 468 of our $20,000 goal. That leaves $3,532 to go. Last Thursday I was on a call with a pro-life colleague. We discussed the news of the passage of the anti-Christian, anti-free speech Bill C-9 in the House of Commons. The bill is now all but law, having only to pass a Senate that has been stacked with Justin Trudeau Liberals. The decisive vote can happen any time now.
My colleague plaintively observed: "We're always losing."
In a way, he's right. We are losing judicial and legislative battles, one after the other. And yet, I told my colleague that I wouldn't call these total losses. For in spite of the defeats, our efforts at opposing evil are being noticed by many thousands in the case of C-9, and as in other battles, our movement has grown—substantially: our supporter numbers are up, our contacts are more numerous, and the number of people aware of the rot in government and in our culture has dramatically increased. So yes, we are losing battles, but through these battles we are building the means to win the war.

We are continuing today our Spring fundraising campaign – with a little over 1 week left, we’ve so far collected $11,822 of our $20,000 goal. Thanks for reading on to understand why your donation is crucial to changing the culture in Quebec, Canada, and the rest of the world. Donate today.
We at Quebec Life Coalition just returned from the United Nations in New York—where the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70) wrapped up this week.
I want to tell you something frankly: sending our delegates wasn’t a “nice-to-have.”
It was necessary.
This year, QLC made the deliberate decision to send two women delegates from Quebec to CSW—joining a wider Campaign Life Coalition pro-life delegation (about ten in total).

And one of our delegates — whom I will identify simply as DS, since in today’s Quebec the public defence of the right to life can carry real professional risks — returned home and wrote you a letter that I believe you should read.
DS described her week at the UN as a true before and after moment—an experience that changed how she sees politics, human dignity, and the direction of our culture.
Here is the point DS drove home, and it’s the point I’m asking you to act on today:
What gets debated at the UN does not stay at the UN.
The language tested there becomes the language repeated everywhere.
And the “new normal” eventually arrives at our doorstep—here in Quebec and in the rest of Canada.
DS put it in a phrase that belongs on our wall:
“Presence matters. Formation matters. Representation matters.”
That’s the heart of this email.
Because at CSW, we saw exactly why presence matters.

Read morePro-family Facebook momentum surges in Quebec -- and courageous voices are rising
Since September 2025, Quebec Life Coalition has returned in force to Facebook, after years of having largely abandoned the platform because of suspected “shadowbanning” — or unofficial suppression — of our controversial opinions on faith, family and life. It simply did not seem a judicious use of our resources to invest time on a platform that appeared to be limiting our message. We therefore remained active elsewhere.
However, we chose to return after several months of relative absence because, in 2025, we began to notice a resurgence of voices you could describe as “on the right” regaining traction on Facebook. It seems that certain broader developments — such as the re-election of Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter — have contributed to a climate in which Facebook is allowing more dissident (that is, non-progressive) voices back onto its platform. Facebook remains, by far, one of the most widely used social media platform in the world, including here in Quebec.
There appears to have been a high-level shift toward allowing conservatives and Christians to participate again in the Facebook “town square.” For the time being, at least, that shift has been decisive.
Since our full return in September, our reach has grown dramatically — from an average of about 1,000 daily views on our Facebook page to roughly 78,000 views per day. View by view, we have been making a tangible mark on Quebec’s social-media landscape.
Last week, two developments made that impact even more pronounced.
We are now one week into our Lenten fundraising campaign. Many supporters have already contributed quickly and generously, which has been inspiring to witness. If you have not yet given, and you appreciate our work defending faith, family and life — from conception to natural death — we warmly invite you to make your gift today.
The first story concerns a hair-salon owner who was brought before a human-rights tribunal for failing to offer “non-binary” haircut options on his website. The judge imposed a $500 fine for this alleged violation. Initially, the owner considered simply paying and moving on. Encouraged by those around him, however, he chose instead to challenge the decision in court.
When Quebec Life Coalition learned of this case on the morning of March 11, we immediately recognized its significance: an ordinary Quebec entrepreneur was publicly standing up to prevailing LGBTQ ideological pressures. We published a Facebook post applauding his decision — and it quickly gained extraordinary traction.
The post appeared on screens over one million times, received about 11,000 “likes,” and generated hundreds of positive comments. In effect, an estimated one in ten Quebecers encountered this encouraging news through our page.
We are also pleased to learn that the Association Coiffure Québec has agreed to help cover the salon owner’s legal costs. We will keep you informed in the coming weeks as this important case unfolds.
At this stage, just under $10,000 has been raised in our Lenten campaign. We still have approximately $10,000 to go. If you are able to help us reach our goal, please consider making your donation today.
Read moreFinal Push Needed to Stop This “Speech-Control” Law
We have just learned that the Liberal government, supported by the Bloc Québécois, is rushing Bill C-9 toward a final vote in the House of Commons — possibly as early as this Friday. Debate has been cut short. Committee study has been shut down. They are trying to force this deeply troubling “speech control” law through before public opposition can grow any stronger.
This tells us something important: they are worried.
And it means we must act immediately.
One of the most dangerous elements of Bill C-9 is the removal of the long-standing religious exemption in the Criminal Code. This protection has allowed Canadians to express sincerely held religious convictions without fear of criminal prosecution. If it is removed, peaceful expression of biblical or moral beliefs on social issues could be investigated or even charged as “hate speech.”
Bill C-9 would also expand police powers to act on complaints about speech, including anonymous allegations made online. The chilling effect on freedom of expression could be profound.
We now have very little time left. Please use this form to contact your Member of Parliament right now. Your email or phone call could help stop this bill.

We are starting today, in the midst of many activities, our Lent Fundraiser. We are aiming to fundraise 20,000$ in the next three weeks.
I'll be giving more details in emails to come, but just to give you an inkling of what we are doing these days, here are just some of the activities we are engaged in to fight in Quebec and the rest of Canada for faith, family and life, from conception to natural death. I think you'll agree that your sacrificial donation will be well used by us:
First, just as I'm writing, two Quebec Life Coalition women representatives are working hard alongside their English-Canada counterparts at the UN in New York City, attending the various gatherings of the Commission for the Status of Women (CSW) conference. I just received these photos which I thought I would share.

You see, these UN conferences are often used as venues to promote pro-abortion, pro-LGBT ideologies. But when our representatives get inside the room, you can be sure they ask very embarrassing questions, and deflate any attempts to pretend there's a consensus behind the pro-aboriton position. But attendance of these events comes with a big price-tag. Thank you for helping us cover these expenses. (I'll have much more to say about this UN work in a future email.)
2) We're actually very active in Quebec on Facebook. Just today, a post we published about a hair-dressing salon standing up to the transgender ideology has accumulated over six thousand likes, and climbing, as I write. This is not unusual for our page, which we maintain with the utmost diligence. There is no better way to get a large Quebec-and-Canada audience to read about pro-life issues than this. But this diligence comes with a price, so we hope you can donate today to help us continue this essential social media work.
3) I'm in the midst of organizing Génération Vie (see below), which is a pro-life, pro-family conference that aims to federate Christians, pro-lifers, and pro-family advocates into one powerful force that can move mountains in Quebec, for the betterment of all. Stay tuned. But this conference requires funding from people like you to make it happen.
4) We've just organized two events in the short term (see entries below for details on these events):
One family event featuring archduke Rudolf of Habsburg-Lorraine, grandson of the last Austro-Hungarian Emperor. Father of 8, he will speak on "Building a strong family in a shattered world".
The other event: March 17 will mark the beginning of a one-year countdown toward the planned legalization of euthanasia for mental illness alone. The slippery slope is here. That's why we're organizing a euthanasia protest on march 17 in Montreal (see below). 2026 should also be the year where Canada reaches the grim 100,000 milestone of deaths by euthansia. Your donation will help us continue launching initiatives like these to fight for dignified care at the end of life, without resorting to killing the physically --and soon mentally-- ill.
We need you. Thank you for supporting us; it is extremely appreciated. Together, we are building a Culture of Life in Quebec.
Thanks for joining us in this mission!

God bless,

Georges Buscemi
P.S. Our Lent fundraiser starts today and goes on for 3 weeks. We're aiming to fundraise 20,000$. Please give today if you can.

This baby you see in the photo is alive today because a pregnant woman in distress found help at the right moment.
And because Quebec Life Coalition and Enceinte et Inquiète (Pregnant and Worried) existed to offer that help.
Today we are launching a two-week lightning campaign to strengthen Enceinte et Inquiète, a service that saves lives in concrete, measurable ways and that pushes back against the pro-abortion ideological monopoly. Our goal is $15,000 to consolidate and expand this breakthrough that is already transforming real situations. This email marks the beginning of an urgent and hope-filled mobilization.

A grandmother, in Africa, worried about her pregnant daughter in Montreal.
Information about Quebec Life Coalition and our help service Enceinte et Inquiète (Pregnant and Worried) found online.
A call for help.
And Brian Jenkins, from our team, stepping in.
The young woman was alone, financially and emotionally vulnerable, abandoned by the child’s father.
But she was no longer isolated.
She now had access to a helping hand, to real, human support that respected life.
A few months later, this baby was born.
This is not a symbol.
This is not an argument.
This is a person.
Here is the proof that your generosity toward Quebec Life Coalition is an investment that truly bears fruit.
And that investment is beginning to disturb our opponents.
We know from their own reports that what they fear most is the expansion of services like Enceinte et Inquiète.
Why?
Because when the pro-life movement does more than protest—when it offers concrete help and becomes a credible alternative in health care and support for women—it gains immense legitimacy.
Our opponents want to preserve their moral monopoly on compassion.
We are in the process of breaking it.
And they know it.
This email is therefore a strategic response to a breakthrough moment.
Your support makes possible:
- direct interventions that save lives,
- the real spread of a pro-life culture within hospital settings,
- the gradual erosion of the pro-abortion ideological monopoly,
- and a popular credibility that our adversaries deeply fear.
We want to amplify the impact of our help service Enceinte et Inquiète, and that is why we are aiming for $15,000 in this two-week lightning campaign—to strengthen a momentum that is already growing.
In the coming days, we will share with you a second rescue just as striking: that of one of our donors who works in a Montreal hospital and who herself helped a woman choose life, using the kind of arguments and formation she receives through QLC.
Your generosity spreads.
It acts.
It saves.
If you would like to take a first step today to defend this work—both fragile and powerful—you can do so here:

Thank you for making these stories possible.

P.S. This two-week $15,000 lightning campaign is dedicated to strengthening Enceinte et Inquiète, a service that saves lives, weakens the pro-abortion ideological monopoly, and gives the pro-life movement in Quebec the concrete credibility our opponents fear.
If you have not yet taken action, now is the moment to defend this decisive breakthrough:
Two Urgent Actions. One Clear Stand for Quebec’s Future.
Quebec Premier François Legault has resigned.
With his party at a historic low in the polls, alongside the very “progressive” Québec solidaire (pro-abortion, pro-euthanasia), the CAQ leader announced his departure this morning, citing the good of Quebec as his reason. He will remain Premier until his successor is elected.
We will not miss him, notably because of Bill 21 on secularism which, far from protecting Quebec’s Christian heritage, weakens it in the name of an ideological struggle against any religious influence. Few dare to acknowledge that massive immigration is largely the result of the collapse of our birth rate and the loss of our Christian roots. With a rate of 1.33 children per woman, well below the replacement level, Quebec is heading either toward cultural replacement or toward disappearance.
Under François Legault, the CAQ also introduced Bill 9, which extends this secularism by severely limiting all public religious expression, including Christian expression.
Under Legault, the CAQ is also responsible for advance requests for euthanasia, the secularizing “Culture and Quebec Citizenship” program and its questionable “sexual education,” the marginalization of parents, the crackdown on homeschooling, the facilitation of late-term abortion, and a covid crisis management that closed churches while keeping liquor stores, marijuana outlets, and big-box stores wide open.
But the most serious issue remains the proposed Quebec Constitution, which enshrines abortion, euthanasia, and secularism. This text does not protect Quebec: it sabotages it. Secularism cuts it off from its roots, abortion from its future generations, and euthanasia from its solidarity.
Will Legault’s departure mean an improvement for Quebec? Perhaps, but only if we send a strong message to our elected officials, and to those who aspire to become them, that we refuse to accept anyone who claims to protect Quebec while sabotaging it in multiple ways.
We must therefore send a clear message, both provincially and federally, in defense of Quebec, our children, our seniors, and our families, against everything that destroys them: abortion, euthanasia, the perverse courses of sexual education and transgender ideology, and the secularism that cuts us off from God.
Read moreA $120,000 government study… about us?
Every so often in the life of an organization, something happens that reveals—far more clearly than we ever could—whether the mission is gaining ground.
This week, Quebec Life Coalition (QLC) lived such a moment.
On December 9, the Fédération Québécoise pour le Planning des Naissances (FPQN -- essentially Planned Parenthood Quebec) released a 114-page, government-funded analysis of the pro-life movement in Quebec, titled:
"Quand le consensus vacille" — When the consensus wavers. And by "consensus" they mean the so-called pro-abortion consensus in Quebec.
When I saw the title, I knew we were in for something remarkable.
When I scanned the report, I realized: this is perhaps the single most significant external validation of QLC's effectiveness since our founding.
I want to share the contents of this report with you, because it is support from people like you that made these results possible.
As we take in what this report reveals, we are in the midst of our December fundraiser: we need to raise $11,569 in the next 12 days to meet our $25,000 objective. If you’ve already given, thank you. If not, please consider giving today.
A six-figure study… about us?
Based on comparable provincial research budgets, a report of this scope, methodology, and length would cost the government between $120,000 and $140,000 to produce.
Think about that.
A major publicly funded project—interviews, field observations, focus groups, digital analysis, community mapping—conducted not on the health care system, not on education, not on public safety…
…but on Quebec Life Coalition and the Quebec pro-life movement.
Why would the government spend that much?
Because, as the authors themselves admit:
Something is shifting in Quebec. The consensus is wavering.
And QLC is at the center of that shift.
This kind of scrutiny doesn’t happen to organizations that are irrelevant. It happens when an entrenched establishment begins to feel the ground move beneath its feet. Help us continue spreading a Culture of Life in Quebec with even greater resolve. Please give today.

Not long ago, we wrote to you about the shocking “Constitution of Quebec” bill tabled by Justice Minister Simon Jolin-Barrette — a bill that wishes to entrench abortion, euthanasia and aggressive secularism at the constitutional level in Quebec.
We asked you to urgently write or call your MNA.
And 700 of you have done so already — thank you!
If you haven’t yet taken action, you can still do so here:
👉 Write or call your MNA now.
You may also heard from us about the strange panic inside the pro-abortion movement:
They are afraid that if abortion is named a “constitutional right,” we pro-lifers will finally have a “target” we can knock down.
Imagine that — they admit that the moment abortion is written down in law, its weakness becomes visible.
They seem to have all the power in Quebec today. The mainstream media. The universities. The political class. Yet they are not confident. They are afraid.
And Scripture tells us why:
“The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.”
— Proverbs 28:1
“There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”
— Isaiah 48:22
Those who cling to the killing of children can never feel safe.
Saint Paul reminds us:
“Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
— Ephesians 6:12
And that battle is shifting — rapidly.
Read moreThey’re scared … and they should be
These days in Quebec, pro-abortion activists are engaged in a weird debate about whether they should enshrine abortion in a recently tabled Quebec constitution bill or, on the other hand, “let sleeping dogs lie” and just keep things as they are.
A recent article in Quebec paper Le Devoir for which I was interviewed confirms this fact. So did the CBC, CTV and Montreal Gazette interviews I participated in.
As strange as this might sound, most pro-abortion activists in Quebec are worried that enshrining abortion in any future Quebec constitution will serve as a rallying point for us pro-lifers — that it would give us a “target” to aim at, a cause to rally around. Talk about us pro-lifers living in their heads rent-free!
One particular activist, Véronique Pronovost of the Université du Québec à Montréal, who seems to spend a lot of time reading everything we write (hello Véronique!), notices how crafty we pro-lifers at Quebec Life Coalition and elsewhere are at seizing on cultural and political events to further our cause. She worries that enshrining abortion in Quebec would motivate pro-lifers across Canada to further concentrate their pro-life giving in Quebec.
And you know what — she’s right! Because we at Quebec Life Coalition have indeed made this point, and generous people from Quebec and across Canada have indeed answered — and on behalf of the unborn across Canada and Quebec, we’re so grateful for it!
Our most significant fundraiser of the year is officially underway. A gift today sends a clear message to activists like Véronique Pronovost that pro-lifers across Quebec — and across the rest of Canada — are uniting to transform hearts and defend life in la Belle Province. We must raise $25,000 within just 3 weeks. Your support right now will help maintain this momentum and push our mission forward.
