We are truly living through a turning point.
A prominent pro-life advocate, Charlie Kirk, was assassinated—leaving behind, along with his wife and children, the powerful and grace-filled witness of his apostolic courage on university campuses.

And yet, as so often happens in our fast-moving world, the masses are already moving on. Many are growing bored of the story, searching for the next outrage, the next headline. But we must not move on. Especially not we who share Charlie’s faith, and who see in history more than a string of meaningless events—but rather, the hand of Providence.

Charlie's death demands a response. It compels us to ask: Why did God allow him to be taken, and us to remain? What are we supposed to do now?

The answer is becoming clear: each of us is responsible to be the witness that Charlie has been, in the place we are given. And for us at Quebec Life Coalition, that place is Quebec—including its colleges and universities, where Quebec's leaders of tomorrow are too often passively absorbing pro-abortion, pro-LGBT and anti-Christian ideology without ever hearing another worldview. We must be there to present a sane, alternative vision rooted in truth.

We’re now entering the final 5 days of our Fall 2025 fundraising campaign, and now Canada Post has gone on strike, paralyzing mail-in donations ! So far, we’ve raised $11,155 (thank you to all who have already given!), but we still need to raise $8,845. We can’t do it without you. Why LifeFest

In light of all this, we are discerning a new “narrative arc” for our movement in Quebec:

1. Campus tours (September to March of each year)

   • Bold forums on campuses, modeled on Kirk’s method: 20 minutes of truth, followed by tough questions.

   • Our mission is not only to appear, but to seed new student groups who will communicate our message more enduringly than any visit.

2. LifeFest (in April, a 2-day conference)

   • The climax of the year.

   • A rallying point for all Quebec’s Christian, pro-family and pro-life forces.

   • Keynotes, panels, workshops, testimonies, cultural moments.

   • Most importantly: the youth recruited and formed during the tour will be front and center—as participants, and as co-organizers.

   • LifeFest (in French "FestiVie") will be the annual point where all threads of our mission converge, giving courage, unity, and formation.

3. The Marches for Life (May 14 in Ottawa; May 30 in Quebec City)

   • The Ottawa March will remain the great national witness, and LifeFest will strengthen Quebec’s turnout there.

   • The Quebec City March will also continue, but we must be honest: it is no longer the family-friendly rally it was envisioned to be. Antifa counter-protests are tolerated, even enabled, by authorities, because it seems to suit them. But we will not abandon the public square; we will adapt.

Why your response is crucial

This bold new plan—campus tours, seeded student clubs, LifeFest as the annual climax, Marches as our witness—requires planning and resources. But more than that, it requires discernment. We need to know that the Holy Spirit is guiding us through the response of His people.
